Eucalyptus deglupta is the only eucalyptus tree indigenous to the northern hemisphere. It thrives in its native tropical forests in the Philippines, New Guinea, and Indonesia where it gets a lot of rain, and can grow up to 250 feet tall! In the U.S. it can be found in Hawaii, Florida, Southern California and Texas and tends to grow quickly but only half as tall, approximately 100-150 feet. The beautiful multi-colored trunk contrasts its white flowers and aromatic leaves. Affectionately named after the colorful spectrum of a Rainbow, each Eucalyptus deglupta is truly unique and a sight to behold!
